كشفت الأكاديمية البريطانية عن نتائج الجولة الأولى من الترشيحات في جميع الفئات للدورة الـ 24 لجوائز BAFTA السينمائية لعام 2024، والتي تضمنت الكثير من المفاجآت غير المتوقعة، حيث تم اختيار كل من فيلم Oppenheimer، وفيلم Killers of the Flower Moon وفيلم Barbie، في حوالي 15 فئة من الترشيحات.
ووفقاً لصحيفة فاريتي، فإنه من المقرر الإعلان عن قائمة الترشيحات النهائية في 18 يناير، مع إقامة حفل توزيع جوائز BAFTA السينمائية في 18 فبراير في قاعة المهرجانات الملكية بلندن.
