أطلقت النجمة العالمية آفريل لافينى أغنيتها " We Are Warriors " علي قناتها الخاصة بموقع الفيديو الشهير " يوتيوب" ، وذلك وسط جائحة انتشار فيروس كورونا الذي يهدد العالم حيث تحاول آفريل أن تقوم بدورها للمساعدة خلال الأزمة الصحة العالمية.
و حسب موقع " جاست جيرد " أن آفريل لافيني استغلت تواجدها بالحجر المنزلي الذاتي و قامت بإعادة تقديم اغنيتها " Warriors " اليت اطلقتها في 2019 لتقدمها من جديد بعد إعادة تسميتها " We Are Warriors " ، و اشارت النجمة البالغة من العمر ( 35 عاما ) أن العائدات ستكون من أجل المساعدة في جهود الإغاثة من جائحة فيروس كورونا .
أكدت افريل في بيان رسمي : " شعرت بالحاجة إلى تقديم شيء لتكريم جميع العاملين في الخطوط الأمامية الذين يخاطرون بحياتهم كل يوم للحفاظ على سلامتنا .. من الأطباء والممرضات والشرطة ورجال الإطفاء وعمال البقالة وخدمات التوصيل وجميع العمال الأساسيين والمتطوعين الشجعان .. أشعر بالامتنان وأريد تكريس أغنيتي الجديدة " We Are Warriors " لكل شخص يعرض حياته للخطر للحفاظ على سلامتنا " ، و استكملت مؤكده أنه ستذهب جميع الأرباح الصافية من " We Are Warriors " إلى جهود الإغاثة التي يبذلها " Project Hope " و هي مؤسسة صحية غير ربحية.
